Welcome to the website of the Bonaire Dining Guide and recipes. The Bonaire Restaurant Association invites you to pick up a printed copy of this publication when you visit Bonaire. It is our wish that you use this website and the guide to plan your dining experience on our island. You will find our chefs to be creative in their menus and preparation.

We offer a wide choice of dining experiences and price ranges from the ever-popular fast food to elegant dining spots. Visitors can eat beneath the stars along the seaside or in the kunuku (countryside) at one of our local snacks.

We would aso like to offer a few tips to enhance your experience concerning service and local customs. Please note that many or our establishments adhere to the European tradition and serve accordingly. Meals are served at a leisurely pace. Each course is prepared only when the previous one has been served. Also, many establishments will not clear the table until everyone has finished their meals. Patrons are obliged to request their checks as, in many cases, restauranteurs feel it is rude to present the bill before the patron asks for it. Many establishments appreciate reservation, especially for parties of 6 or more.
