| Warung
Louise offers a truly authentic Indonesian eating experience! Our
recipes have been passed through three generations. Grandmother Louise Oei
Paulus, wrote them down and gave them to her daughter Jessyca who in turn
gave them to her daughter Debbie. Louise, born in Makasar, Indonesia in
1928, compiled recipes from Java, Sumatra, Bali, Sumba, Flores, Timor and
North Molukken.
In Indonesia 'Warung' means little restaurant and indeed we may be little in
size but we are large in service, taste and quality. Wešre proud to share
Grandmother Louisešs dishes and hope you enjoy them as we have for more than
sixty years! We wish you selamat makan (enjoy your meal) and sampei bertemu
lagi (hope to see you soon)!
